Cyrano

I think it's a pretty interesting story. you can learn about not everything ie about beauty. At the begining of the story Roxane is in love with Christian, because of his beauty; but at the end of the story Roxane is more in love with the letters that she thought that Christian wrote ot her than Christian's apperance. This kind of story almost everyday around us. I think the story is pretty commen, but the theme is always good.

Satire....

Some things to consider: When is satire effective? When is satire ineffective? Who can understand satire? Why is satire important? Where do you see satire creating change? How is satire used most effectively? What causes satire to be effective/ineffective? Etc.



Satire is the use of irony, sarcasm to expose folly. it uses dark humar to expose the bad side of things. it's a use of wit to attack something that the author dissapproves. there are lots of different way to show satire. direct or indirect. high Burlesque or low Burleague.

In the vedio we watch " the neighbor" is a really good example of satire, it show us why we need to love our neighbor. another example is political cartoon. it uses satire to make fun of the things the author thinks is wromg. it's a way to communacate with people, you don't need to write a whole speech on something you diaprove, you can just use a cartoon, and people can understand you.

About Reading!?

I think the best story I read this year so far is the "How Much Land Does a Men Need," i enjoy reading stories that i can learn something out off it. i can learn something from the story "How Much Land Does a Men Need." People's greed are really scary, I can sort of understand the decisions that the main character made.


Harry Potter is my favorite series. I can relate to all the characters in the story. i like books that i can relate to the character. i also like books that i can learn something from it. it have to be interesting. not a funny way interesting, but a way that want the reader to read more, make the reader want to keep reading.

I think there should be a fine line between " I " and " we." Even though people are animals that want to be with the others, we still need space just for ourselves. I am a kind of person who would want people to leave me alone when I am in the bad mood. I will want to be left alone when i am thinking. I kind of feel safe in a way that i am alone. no one will know what i am thinking or what i am doing. I don't want everyone in the whole to know I am thinking. I am a kind of person who need her space. I don't want to share my whole life story with everyone in the world.
